The Water Seller after Velasques

I made this picture with reference to a high res print from the internet. Velasques was a fantastic painter and I felt priviliged to be trying to learn from his work. In the end it came out better than I had hoped. Notice the shady character in the background. He has a glass and is drinking. Maybe he was just another cutomer. The boy seems a bit uncertain, its not clear why, only Velasques knew.
